Our very best friend Craig Burton was kind enough to forward me these photos. the first 3 are from the milan tattoo convention showing a small fraction of the chaos that was to work right beside the goldrush guys haha, them californians be some hard working motherfuckers!

the last pic was taken years ago i guess cos i dont remember it being taken haha! i dont even have my hands tattooed in it. from L-R: Stewart, me, CHAD!, bert, stefano, craig, leon, eli and tony. chad now works at new york adorned, bert and eli at smith st tattoos in brooklyn.

As usual, ive had a brilliant wee break doing some fun tattoos on some great folk, thanks for coming to get tattooed guys! i forget how tough these scottish folk are, everything was all done in a single sitting, even the chestpiece even though i only expected to get the lines done!

looking forward to coming home and cracking on with more work.

Chile Earthquake

If you aren’t aware yet, there has been a massive 8.8 earthquake happen in Chile in the last few days. You can google it and find out more about it.

I was born in Chile and spent a large chunk of my early childhood there so this disaster is very upsetting and close to my heart. I remember a 7 scale quake while i lived there and it really was something i wouldnt wish on anyone.

If you would like to donate, you can do so through unicef like i did, but many other worthwhile charities are also contributing to this tragedy.

i got some paintings in the works and i hope to motivate myself this year to do more paintings of things i want to do tattoo wise. im useless at explaining myself with words…

the road

I went to see The Road last night at the cinema after wanting to since its release, however being busy got in the way. And boy was it worth it, grim and heartbreaking is almost an understatement, it was tough to sit through it but at the same time I’d recommend anyone to watch it.

Got more work to post but will do so over the next week.

Milan Milan

Milan was fun fun! i loved it. A huge thank you to those who got tattooed and made the effort, it’s all really appreciated. Conventions are stressful but milan seemed to go without a hitch, some great tattooers in attendance and some great friends to hang out with. I hope to come back next year so fingers crossed. Thanks Mikki for a great convention!

ps. the ship was the guy’s first tattoo, how crazy is that! he got the gold star of the weekend for sure.
